The Cat Profiles

◊Name: No particular name, known as the "rouge" cat, ಕಳ್ಳ ಬೆಕ್ಕು[kalla bekku in kannada]
◊Number: #FFC002

◊Gender: Female.

◊Nature: Cunning, curious & exploring. Also cautious. Notorious as the "rouge" cat in the locality. Except that, there is not much undesirable behavior. Loves milk very much. Will drink more than a glass of milk at a time if provided. A good hunter, (has caught a number of bats and mice to feed its kittens).

◊"Career" Highlights: Has been found bungling by lot of neighborhood people in their kitchen (also in our home)& has been driven out lots of times by them. It has been driven out of our house lots of times, as it now lives here with its kittens and also before some years when it used to come here. Its gave birth to its first kitten outside our house. There was only one surviving kitten which later was killed by stray dogs before long. This time around, the four kittens it has given birth to, must be 5th, 6th or even greater time it is giving birth. (Since cats usually give birth twice a year, and I know this one since five-six years, when it itself was a kitten that just became a cat. Only three incidents of birth are known to me, 1st one is when it gave birth the first time, 2nd when it gave birth at a neighbor's(there were three at the time of birth), and now(there are four kittens), as it has appeared here after a about year or two. (As on November 2007)

◊Recent News: Has given birth to kittens again somewhere else in the neighborhood. Visits our place once in a while, and does not allow its previous offsprings to come near it.

◊It's new kitten had paid a little visit here! Its looks are somewhat like Kitten1. Don't know it's gender, and couldn't get its photograph too. Have never seen it again. Forget that, now this cat looks like its getting pregnant again!!

◊Well, What'd you know! It has given birth to kittens once again, this time, in the month of June. Its the second time this cat is giving birth after bringing to earth our famous four.. Man! Just how many times does a cat give kittens.. It had reportedly brought two new born kittens to a neighbor's place, there may be more than two, but they reportedly saw two. Now, its taken them somewhere else, don't know where the new new kittens are now, but the cat often visits our place..

KITTEN #1 (July 12, 2007 - January 22, 2008)

◊Name: Not named, numbered as kitten#1.

◊Gender: Male.

◊Nature: Very playful, exploring, cautious.

◊Highlights: Looks are like a male cat in the locality, which most probably is its father. This kitten is larger in size than the other four. It is very playful, and just "bites" if the hand is given, of course, not hard, but in play. Seems to be developing aggressiveness. Does not apparently have much sense of hygiene as its mother. Got a sweet voice, unlikely for a male, but it might change as it grows up. It is also the most active kitten of the four. It does not seem to like milk very much. (As on November 2007)

◊Recent News: Has been unfortunately barbarically killed on the road by ravenous stray dogs. He was the most loved kitten of the four by all. Felt like killing the dogs if I ever saw them again, when I saw his mutilated corpse on the road, after getting awaked from his cries, late night at around 2 A.M. Then again, it would be "cruelty" to animals if I kill those *** dogs. Of all the pictures and videos taken of the cats, most of them are especially his, as he was the closest to me among the four. Will be releasing them on this site whenever time permits. The movie I have made a movie out of the videos taken of him and other kittens, I dedicate to him, and now is a tribute to him and Kitten#2.- February 30, 2008 Have a look. KITTEN #2  (July 12, 2007 - February 2008)

◊Name: Not named, numbered as kitten#2.

◊Gender: Male.

◊Nature: Cowardly, cautious.

◊Highlights: Looks of this kitten is also like the male cat in the locality, which most probably is also its father. This kitten is very skinny. It seems to like eating, but apparently did not eat much, hence was very thin, but now is pretty medium-sized. It is not very playful, and is just scared of humans. It seems to be "humanophobic"! Its cowardliness seems to be decreasing. Does not apparently have much sense of hygiene like kitten1, but does not just piss or potties just anywhere! If the sandbox is not available while indoors, and it just has to piss or potty, it does so in the bathroom! Its kind of a weird character. It does not seem to like milk very much. (As on November 2007)

◊Recent News: Has been missing since a week. Suspected to be dead, most likely due to the stray dogs. Before this, he had got injured by a car accident. We had taken him to our town veterinarian and had got the wounded left leg stitched. He had been close to us ever since that incident and hardly ever left our premises.

KITTEN #3  (Born: July 12, 2007)

◊Name: Not named, numbered as kitten#3.

◊Gender: Female.

◊Nature: Very playful, exploring, cautious.

◊Highlights: Looks of this kitten are somewhat different. This kitten is quite thin. It is very playful, and its behavior, for instance, while asking food, resembles it's mothers. Appears to stay cleaner than the male kittens. It is a very active kitten. When this kitten scratches or bites, it does them hard, even during play. Seems to be developing aggressiveness. It likes to be with humans more than any of its brothers or sister. It loves milk very much, just as its mother and sister. (As on November 2007)

◊Recent News: She's the most brave and cautious surviving kitten. Still very playful, often comes to our premises, goes somewhere else other time. Loves fish very much.

◊Food is her favorite subject. Has got very strong, eats till her tummy bulges! (was very weak once, long ago). There are signs of her becoming a rouge cat just like her mother. Gets pestered by local male cats.

◊Well, what'd you know!! She's not even a year old, and she's already got a boyfriend! Oh yeah, she loves his company. Got a snap of him, his profile is just below after our famous four. They say its pregnant! For gosh sakes! can a cat get pregnant before it grows to its full size? Before a year of birth? Well, I don't know, if you do, please let me know. KITTEN #4  (Born: July 12, 2007)

◊Name: Not named, numbered as kitten#4.

◊Gender: Female.

◊Nature: Somewhat cowardly, cautious.

◊Highlights: Looks of this kitten which were somewhat like its mother. Now, although the color and pattern don't resemble it's mothers, its "face cut" or face and other physical features are turning out to be just like the mother cat. It is but not so playful, and its behavior is somewhat cowardly towards humans, especially, unlike its mother. It too, like kitten 2 seems to suffer from what I call "humanophobia"!!. It might change as it grows up. Appears to stay cleaner than the male kittens. It is an active kitten. It does not like to play with humans, and has never attempted to bite or scratch any of us as yet, but when cornered, it hisses, as cats do when they are frustrated or agitated. It also loves milk very much, just as its mother and sister. (As on November 2007)

◊Recent News: She's still somewhat cowardly, but has got close to us since the death of Kitten#1 and since Kitten#2 went missing. After that, is quite lonely now, and mostly stays at our place. Plays with Kitten#3 whenever it comes here.

◊Doesn't seem to like food that much nowadays. Don't know the reason. Can cats get depressed for some reason?
She looks a lot weak from before (used to be pretty healthy strong once). Reportedly, eats n drinks more at our neighbor's, but seems to dislike our house food! It also gets pestered by the local male cats(I got the two culprits digitally photographed!)

◊Not much from this girl. Very timid natured, not very naughty like her sister. Keeps coming here, but mostly will be at our neighbor's place.
